Design Thinking & Innovation

In the module "Design Thinking and Innovation," my group was presented with an intriguing challenge: to transform Handy Green, with Temasek Shophouse as our client and office workers as the target audience. The project aimed to harness design thinking tools to reimagine Handy Green into a multi-functional space that caters to the diverse needs of office professionals. Through collaborative brainstorming sessions and hands-on workshops, we delved into the intricacies of creating a dynamic environment that seamlessly blends functionality, aesthetics, and user experience. The incorporation of design thinking principles allowed us to empathize with the needs of the office workers, ideate innovative solutions, and prototype a versatile space that not only serves their practical needs but also fosters creativity and collaboration. This real-world project not only challenged us to think critically and creatively but also provided valuable insights into the application of design thinking in addressing complex spatial transformations.
